IT support

Someone picks up, understands, and sees it through.

Support is not a switchboard. It is a technician who knows your estate, who has the credentials, and who stays on the case until it is closed — not until it is passed on.

The scope

What we take on.

Workstations

Windows and macOS: setup, updates, faults, replacement. A new joiner's machine ready on the morning they arrive, signed in and with the printer connected.

Servers and backups

Physical or virtual servers, storage, verified backups. A backup that has never actually been restored is not a backup: we test them.

Mail and Microsoft 365

Accounts, shared mailboxes, licences, migrations. Sharing rules written down once, properly, so nobody has to guess who can see which folder.

Everyday security

Antivirus, patches, access rights, passwords, leavers. The dull work that prevents the difficult weeks.

Printing and telephony

Printers, scanners, handsets, meeting rooms. The things that appear in no contract and always break on a Monday morning.

The users themselves

Explaining, showing, writing the procedure down and leaving it on the network. A user who has understood calls less often — which is the whole point.

The sequence

How a ticket runs.

  1. The report

By phone or by mail. We record who is calling, what is not working, and since when. The caller gets the ticket number immediately.

  2. The triage

A technician calls back within 1 h during office hours. He sets the real urgency: a server that is down and a temperamental printer do not get the same place in the queue.

  3. The work

Remotely first. On site when hands are needed. Either way you know who is coming, when, and for how long.

  4. The close

The ticket closes on a sentence a non-technical reader can follow and, where it applies, on what would have to change so that the same ticket does not reopen in three months.

The arrangements

Three ways to be supported.

The figures depend on the size of the estate and on the response time you want. They are fixed in the quote, and do not move mid-year without your written agreement.

On demand

— € per hour

  • Hourly work, no commitment
  • Timing subject to our availability
  • Billed per quarter-hour started
  • Travel billed separately

Most chosen

Monthly retainer

— € per month

  • Number of workstations and servers set in the contract
  • First reply within 1 h during office hours
  • Server and backup monitoring included
  • Asset inventory kept current and available to you
  • One short monthly report, in plain language

On-site presence

— € per day

  • A technician at your premises, on fixed days
  • He ends up knowing your estate better than we do
  • Small requests get handled in passing
  • Worth it beyond 40 workstations
Talk it through

Plainly

What we need from your side.

Support does not run by itself. These four things are the difference between a useful provider and a provider who spends the day searching.

  • One named contact on your side, who decides when a decision is needed
  • Administrator credentials, genuinely complete, from day one
  • The list of live contracts: carrier, licences, warranties, maintenance
  • A word when something changes: a move, a new tool, someone leaving

If one of these is still missing, say so: we help put it back together. It is often the first job.

Questions

What people ask before signing.

Will you take over an estate nobody looks after any more?

Yes, and it happens often. We start with an inventory: machines, licences, contracts, credentials. It takes a few days and it stays yours, even if you go no further.

Will you work alongside our current provider?

If the split is written down, yes. Two providers with no written boundary are two providers waiting for each other.

Do you work outside office hours?

On a standby arrangement set in the contract, within the to be defined window and on the terms written there. We do not promise availability we could not deliver.

What happens if we leave?

You leave with your credentials, your inventory and your documentation, within a fortnight. Holding a client's keys is a poor commercial argument.

How much time do you lose each week?

The figure usually comes as a surprise. A twenty-minute call is enough to estimate it, and it commits you to nothing.
